Our Story
True Discount Convenience has been operating a convenient independent store(c-store) business in Scarborough, Ontario since 2016 with active and reputable business activities. True Discount has focused on making the life of their customer easy, inventive, and convenient within the local community during the past five years and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

True Discount is currently facing two major issues at the stage of recovering from the pandemic: meeting the drastically changed customer expectations and continuously managing at the risk of possible impacts from the post-pandemic.

At True Discount, making sure our footprint on the planet is as light as possible is a responsibility we take very seriously. That’s why sustainability is a major part of our regeneration strategy. As we work to become a regenerative company – one that keeps nature and humanity at the centre of our business – we’re striving to not only preserve the environment, but to restore, renew and replenish it, and encourage others to do the same.
Supporting Local Products
We also helps to provide technical assistance to small and medium-sized growers in our supply chain through our various sourcing organizations. The training ranges from information sessions on retail sourcing standards to store visits that allow farmers to see how our customers experience their products.
